Product Details

This double row ball gear type slew drive is used in automation equipment. The customer requires ultra-high speed operation, oil lubrication, and the ability to withstand large axial loads and tilting moments. The external installation dimensions are limited, and belt pulley input transmission is used.

 

U-TRSM design engineers developed this slew drive based on customer requirements. The double row ball design allows the slewing bearing to maximise load capacity within a limited space, the helical gear design further enhances the output torque. The input gear end is supported by three universal bearings, ensuring smoother transmission during high-speed rotation.

 

This slew drive axial load can reach 1102 kN, tilting moment can reach 55 kNm, and the rated output torque can reach 11 kNm.

 

Helical gear design is widely used in gear type slew drives. U-TRSM has designed many helical gear slew drives. Compared to standard spur gears, helical gears have many advantages: the tooth surfaces are in oblique contact, and meshing is gradual entry and exit, which greatly reduces vibration and noise. During meshing, multiple teeth are in contact, which reduces the risk of single tooth load capacity, reduces wear and extends service life.
