Product Details

The S-II-O-0541 is a precision slewing drive with a specially designed input end for use in industrial automation equipment, mounted vertically, to turn the equipment at a certain speed and angle. The Series II 0541 slewing drive was selected based on customer requirements.

 

In order to make the equipment rotate more smoothly, the slewing drive still adopts zero clearance. In order to control the angle precisely, the gear ring and gear are quenched and then ground, which can improve the tooth surface hardness, increase the torque, reduce the wear and keep the accuracy longer. For the input end of the slewing drive, the customer chose a worm gear reducer to power the slewing drive, using the worm gear reducer with the feature of mechanical self-locking to improve the overall safety of the equipment.

 

The installation size of the worm gear reducer is relatively large, which will interfere with the mounting holes of the slewing drive. For this reason, Unique Transmission has designed a special adaptor flange for the customer, which solves the interference problem and also makes the installation and disassembly very easy, without the need to make large changes to the customer’s frame. We phosphate the input end flange of the slewing drive to enhance the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the flange.
