It turned out that the slewing drive were installed on the customers’ equipment, the rotation frequencies were very low. They only needed to rotate an angle occasionally and there were no strict requirements for the angle of rotation, so customers chose manual operation.

 

According to the customers’ requirements, U-TRSM chose the WEA9 worm gear worm shaft slewing drives, they have a large gear ratio and manual operation is relatively labor-saving, so there is no need to add additional reducers to reduce costs.

 

Customer turntables are large in size and have a relatively low height from the ground. If the handwheels are located close to the slewing drives, they are very inconvenient and unsafe to operate. Therefore, we designed an adapter shaft for each slewing drive, and the handwheel is installed outside the turntable, which is convenient and safe to operate.

 

U-TRSM conducted force analysis according to the customers’ working conditions, established models, and selected the appropriate handwheels for customers through calculation to ensure that the customers can easily use slewing drives manually and at the same time have high efficiency.
